We created this space for couples who want that specific aesthetic—the unscripted, fine-art energy—but with a more streamlined approach.

THE ARTIST Joe Snell is a Fine Art graduate and the lead shooter for Grassy Jou. Often working shoulder-to-shoulder with Jessi Zou, Joe captures the day with a quiet presence, shooting a hybrid of digital cinema and medium format film.

THE PROCESS We believe the soul of a film is captured in the moment, not manufactured on a computer.
To keep our commissions accessible and our focus sharp, we operate with a studio model. Joe captures the raw honesty of your day, and our dedicated post-production team handles the edit. This allows us to deliver high-end, documentary storytelling without the “bespoke” price tag.
